WHAT IS A LAUNCH COACH?
Each Coach and LAUNCHee partnership is prayerfully matched based on a number of factors (including geographic location) and consists of monthly meetings for a period of one year. A LAUNCH Coach:
is a mature Christian who models what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ
desires to invest in a young, innovative, Christian leader
willingly shares their life experience, knowledge, resources and skills with a teachable young person
inspires the next generation to realize their God-given potential
mobilizes and equips a LAUNCHee to grow spiritually, in character and in leadership
is able to meet a LAUNCHee at face to face meetings in or around the GTA
Coaching is critical to the success of young leaders. The coaching process provides an opportunity for a LAUNCHee (a young person between 14-25 years old) to experience personal transformation as they maximize an existing leadership opportunity or launch a Kingdom dream (an idea that positively impacts a community).
Coaches have the privilege of drawing out what passions, abilities and talents God has placed in the hearts and minds of these young leaders. Coaching helps provide necessary focus and accountability as LAUNCHees live out their God-given potential.
